Whether you are considering building a new home or remodeling your existing one, there are several things that should be addressed before work even begins. How will the new space be used? Will the finishes and material selections flow with the rest of the house? You know what “look and feel” you want but how do you pull it off? Are your existing furnishings appropriate for the new space or will the scale of your new environment “dwarf” what you have? Design planning, or lack thereof, can make or break a project.

Eminent Interior Design will work with you to develop a complete design plan often times before work even begins.  We specialize in design planning and working with your contractor to make sure that your project goes smoothly and is completed correctly.  We will act as your design liaison with the costruction team to make sure everyone is on the same page and working toward the same cohesive result.

Here’s what you can expect from Eminent Interior Design during your construction project:

• First, we get to know you. Your likes, dislikes and your vision of the project.
• Then we do a comprehensive plan review to ensure the space will function
as you would like it to.
• After a thorough plan review, we take your vision of the project and translate it into tangible and specific material selections such as lighting, plumbing fixtures, paint colors, tile and tile layouts, cabinetry design and any other design decision that comes up during the project.

• Finally we work with your contractor to ensure the design is implemented properly.  We will be there every step of the way to answer questions and make sure everything is going according to plan.

There are countless examples of people who build what they think is their dream home only to find out after they have moved in they wish they had done things differently. Having a solid design plan before the project begins will go a long way toward minimizing headaches down the line. Not to mention the time and money you’ll save by getting the job done right the first time.

"I bought a great space in downtown Minneapolis, but it lacked architectural detail and interest. Brandi's use of creative materials on the fireplace and kitchen backsplash transformed what was once a vanilla shell into a space that has unique wonderful character." - Pat Miles
